Haliç University is a foundation university founded on November 23, 1998 by Bizim Lösemili Ocuklar Vakf (The Foundation for Our Children with Leukemia) in accordance with Higher Education Law No. 2547.

Haliç University , with its six Faculties, three Vocational Schools, Conservatory, and Graduate Institute, is a leading foundation university in Turkey, pursuing its education and research mission in a wide range of fields such as health, engineering, architecture, sports, and art since 1998.
